Infection is a major complication to surgery. Dr. Bailey carefully cleaned (with a fresh can wiped down REALLY well with a nearby t-shirt, of course) and bandaged the wound to help prevent bacteria from entering where he'd worked. After finishing the right foot we had more sedation and did the same thing on the other foot.
