This is the second cover I've been privileged to execute for this flagship product for Peachpit Press. In each cover I try to employ as many "tricks" as I can think of while avoiding a gaudy and overproduced, hodgepodge appearance.
I try to use subtle symbolism in my work so those enjoying the pieces can be engaged on multiple levels. An example of this is the coloring of the Clown fish. The striping sequence has been changed to represent the RGB and CMYK color spectrums. There are additional hidden elements as well as the obvious fun and eye-catching features to make this a well-designed and colorful piece.
