One warm San Diego morning found my young daughter (now attending Georgia Tech, which is just wrong) doing a bit of yard work with the hose. Who doesn't need her big sister's awesome helmet for that?
This was one of my earliest exeriments in digital painting, executed sometime around 1996. I was attempting to figure out how to make several different media affects, specifically oil painting, watercolor and acrylics using Photoshop and Painter in unusual ways for that time. I think it reveals too much of its photographic origins but is after so many years is quite nice.
This painting was featured in a gallery of an early printing of The Painter WOW! Book.
