The story of my life.
Cartooning has always been an area of private satisfaction, and very few of my clients have even known I possess that particular talent.
For years I volunteered at Children's Hospital of Atlanta where I went room-to-room working with kids and their families to relieve boredom, tension and especially fear. An unfortunate and false accusation from a staff member put an end to that in late 2008 and I miss it tremendously, as do many friends and families I met.
My philosophy for my cartooning is that if it isn't constructive, joyful and reflects how I feel inside I choose not to do it. Hundreds of children and close to two thousand cartoons, each custom drawn with my special drawing pen (Faber-Castell Pitt Brush Pens bought by the dozens) on 300 Series Strathmore Bristol Smooth (also bought in large quantities from my work account) combine to give me some really great memories and some heart-touching stories.
