This illustration was a wall mural several feet high in my previous studio, one of my favorite parts in the suite. I keep several printed on watercolor stock and hand-painted in stock for emergencies whenever a new aquaintence requires celebrating.
Cartooning is a favorite way to unwind as well as share a bit of happiness with people around me. It's rare to find me out and about without one of my "special drawing pens" and a pad and paper and there's not much more enjoyable for me than giving a nice cartoon like this one to an unsuspecting victim. Especially if the recipient is a small child I've been harrassing with questions about their jobs, spouses or bulging muscles.
Kids are the best kind of people until the grown-ups mess them all up.
